Let me tell you a story

I was born and bred in Louisiana. My little town’s only real claim to fame is Kate Chopin, but her home burned to the ground one night in the early 2000s, and I seem to be the only one to remember it ever being there.

I suppose I’ve always been a little eccentric. I only rode horses, played sports, and got up to a lot of no good because there weren’t many other options.

I moved to Central Louisiana for college where I met my husband. He pretended like he really didn’t like me for a while, but eventually he succumbed to my innate charm like most usually do. We’ve been married for almost fifteen tough but beautiful years. I’ve brought two sons into this world, and I’ve got a dog I call Fannie, a nemesis Corgi named Einstein, and a cat named Oreo that I’m pretty sure is plotting against me.

My writing style is honest and personable. I do my very best to deliver the truth in its natural form—gritty and raw.

I pretend I’m not nearly as friendly as I sound, but I suppose I am. I love a good time and a good story. I’d love it if you let me tell you one.
